The 2015 ANZSNR ASM was held in Melbourne at the Crown Promenade Hotel. The meeting took the form of a didactic 'refresher' course on diagnostic radiology. Diverging from the usual ANZSNR meeting format, this meeting was held over a weekend and did not include a course dinner. The aim was to keep costs down to present the best possible value in the hope of attracting more registrars and radiologists with an interest in neuroradiology. There was no INR component, as ANZSNR is the host for the WFITN meeting in November 2015.

A novel feature of the meeting was the contributions the Radiopaedia team, led by Founder and Editor Frank Gaillard. The Radiopaedia sessions reinforced the didactic lecture content with excellent case-based material, presented using the Radiopaedia software, which allows images to be presented in a non linear way, more accurately mimicking the way radiologists review cases when reporting.

Pramit Phal, Peter Mitchell and Alan Coulthard convened the meeting, which attracted over 200 registrants.
