CCINR website goes live

The Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Interventional Neuroradiology (CCINR) have published a document, "Guidelines for Recognition of Training in Interventional Neuroradiology (INR)" which is now in the public domain. The CCINR website can be found at ccinr.org.au

ANZSNR has a tripartite agreement on guidelines for interventional neuroradiology (INR) training with the two other craft groups in Australia and New Zealand who also perform INR work. Neurologist INRs are represented by the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN). Neurosurgeon INRs are members of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia (NSA). INR representatives from the three groups came together in 2014 to form the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Interventional Neuroradiology (CCINR). The CCINR have published a document, "Guidelines for Recognition of Training in Interventional Neuroradiology (INR)" which is now in the public domain. The CCINR website can be found at ccinr.org.au

In the next few months CCINR will establish a register of Australian and New Zealand INRs who have met the guidelines for INR training.

ANZSNR welcomes this initiative, which will help to safeguard patients from untrained or undertrained operators.

The ANZSNR 2015 iOS app - get it while you still can

One of the great features of the 2015 ANZSNR Diagnostic Neuroradiology Refresher Course was the offer of a FREE iOS app to augment the content provided within the meeting by the Radiopaedia team. You can read what Radiopaedia Editor and Founder Dr Frank Gaillard has to say about the app here

The app was free for all comers, not just ANZSNR 2015 attendees, in the spirit of Frank's philosophy on offering high quality educational material for everyone, at no cost.

The app will be available on the iOS store for a few more weeks, so grab it while you can, and use the links to download the case material to your device.

Go to this page for a brief illustrated description of the iOS app.
