ANZSNR 2015 first announcement

Save the date - ANZSNR neuroradiology weekend refresher course, Melbourne 21st and 22nd March 2015
The ANZSNR is pleased to announce a short refresher course in neuroradiology, to be held in Melbourne in March 2015. The Faculty includes renowned educator Professor James Smirniotopoulis, who will provide a series of key lectures on neuroradiological topics with pathological correlation. Professor Smirniotopoulis is Professor of Radiology at USUHS, and is Chief Editor of Medpix®. Key topics in diagnostic imaging of the brain and spine will be covered.
The meeting format will include the opportunity to work through diagnostic problem cases using an innovative interactive e platform.
This meeting should appeal to all radiologists wishing to update their skills in diagnostic neuroradiology. The neuropathology correlation will assist radiology trainees in preparation for the RANZCR examination.

Dr Lawrence Ginsberg

Lawrence Ginsberg is the International Guest Speaker for the Diagnostic component of the 2014 ASM. Lawrence is a Professor of Radiology in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. He is a renowned Head and Neck radiologist and is a past president of the American Society of Head and Neck Neuroradiology.

Dr Karel ter Brugge

Dr Karel ter Brugge is well known to the neurointerventional chapter of ANZSNR. He is highly respected throughout the world for his extensive contribution to interventional neuroradiology over many years. He is truly one of the founding fathers of the subspecialty. Dr ter Brugge is our guest speaker for the INR component of the ASM.
