New ANZSNR Councillors
At the recent ANZSNR AGM three State councillors stepped down from their duties: Dr John Wilson (NZ), Dr Ross O’Neill (ACT) and Dr Gerald McInerney (Tas). The Society thanks them for their representation over the years.
Professor Jens Froelich is the new council representative for Tasmania. Dr Ben McGuinness has taken over as ANZSNR councillor for New Zealand. The ACT position is vacant at present. ANZSNR representatives to other Societies and organisations also saw some changes. Dr Will McAuliffe has stepped down as representative to IRSA, to be replaced by Mark Brooks. Catherine Mandel will take over as RANZCR representative from Pramit Phal. Mark Soo has stepped down as representative to AOSNHNR and his replacement will be confirmed soon.

ASM ends in Hobart
The ANZSNR ASM concluded today at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), Hobart, Tasmania. 130+ registrants experienced a varied programme of neurointerventional and diagnostic topics, interspersed with social events at the MONA. These included a Delegate Dinner held at MONA and a cocktail event held on one of the MONA ferry vessels, both events preceded by private viewings at the MONA galleries. The 21st Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday evening. The Society thanked the convenor Dr Gerald McInerney and the INR convenor Prof Jens Frohlich for organising the meeting.
Next year the meeting will be held in Adelaide, SA in March, and the meeting convenor is Dr Steve Chryssidis.

21st ANZSNR ASM this week
The 21st Annual Scientific Meeting of the ANZSNR takes place at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart, Tasmania from Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th March. The Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held on Saturday 23rd March at 1750.

Four weeks to go..
The 2013 ANZSNR ASM is fast approaching and there is an excellent programme of national and international speakers. The venue is the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart, Tasmania and the dates are 22-24 March 2013.
Professor Keith Thulborn from Chicago is a late addition to the diagnostic neuroradiology programme.
