The Diagnostic Neuroradiology Weekend refresher Course, hosted by ANZSNR at the Crown Promenade Hotel in Melbourne, VIC, concluded on Sunday 22nd March with plaudits from the 200+ attendees. An excellent Faculty delivered content which was interesting, relevant and at times highly entertaining.  Speakers kept to their brief of delivering concisely presented information with key take-home points, and keeping to time. Many speakers gave helpful 'how I do it'  insights into how they would approach particular imaging scenarios.

The Radiopaedia sessions reinforced the didactic lecture content with excellent case-based material, presented using the Radiopaedia software, which allows images to be presented in a non linear way, more accurately mimicking the way radiologists review cases when reporting.

The feedback from attendees so far suggests that the Society has a wealth of world class presenters it can call upon to deliver high quality educational material, and ANZSNR should maintain a commitment to radiological education in addition to presenting more 'leading edge' material at its meetings.

The next annual meeting of the ANZSNR will be held in March 2016 in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
